Broaden & Build is led by Justin Deighton, an experienced project director and hands on builder with decades of experience delivering complex residential, hospitality and commercial projects.

Justin’s background ranges from high quality residential construction and renovation including luxury homes in Sussex and Kent to the creation of some of London’s most ambitious hospitality venues, including bars, restaurants and a fully operational brewery in King’s Cross. These projects required more than construction expertise alone: they demanded rigorous project management, disciplined cost control, the coordination of multidisciplinary teams and the ability to deliver under pressure without compromising design intent or build quality.

Broaden & Build’s recent developments include the transformation of a five storey Georgian seafront townhouse into two high quality apartments, together with the sensitive conversion of a substantial early Victorian building, dating from 1838, into seven individually designed apartments.

Broaden & Build delivers residential, hospitality and mixed use projects across Margate, Kent and the South East, applying the discipline and standards developed on complex Central London projects and high end residential developments to buildings that demand sensitivity, foresight and intelligent management.

Justin will continue to lead every Broaden & Build project from the first idea and early feasibility stages through to construction, completion and final handover.
